I was a secondary school teacher in the Philippines for almost 8 years. After finishing my bachelor's degree in 2013, I applied in the biggest and prestigious catholic school in our city and was immediately hired. In the same year, I took the licensure examination for teachers and got my license. I taught English and became a school paper adviser and coach for two years there. Within those years, I developed and enriched students to become junior journalists and sent them to district, division, regional and even national level competitions. During mornings to afternoons of week days, I was teaching in a school, while I was tutoring during evenings and weekends. After serving this private school, I applied to a public school for a greener pasture. I was hired on the same year. I resigned last October 2020 to marry my Austrian partner. My highest educational attainment is Master in Education major in English. Aside from English, I also teach Values Education.
