Dear family, my name is Martina (43). I come from Slovakia, but I was married to a British citizen and lived for 12 years in London, England. I have already completed B1 as well as B2 Niveau German courses and passed the ÖSD exams successfully. I am very much interested in looking after your child. Even though, I do not have child care qualification, I do have a lot of experience working with children. I started working with kids when I was still a student at the University. In my gap year, (September 1995 – August 1996), I worked as a cook (3 months) as well as a child assistant (9 months) for my mother-in-law private nursery in London. After graduating, I also became an Au-pair for one very busy British single mother who had one 5 year old son. I lived with them in Bath for 10 months. After that I worked as a Nanny for one young Italian family living in Sienna. I looked after their 3 small girls, twins of age 6 months as well as their 3 years old sister. I stayed with this family for 9 month in 1999. Since then, I got married and became a mother myself. My son is now almost 15 years old, very bright and mature child. I am fully aware of what this position involves, and with my loving, caring, responsible personality and knowledge of English and German I could become a valuable help for your family.
