My name is Mafalda, I'm Portuguese and have been working with children for 7 years, specially infants and toddlers. I believe in educating with mindfulness and follow the principles of Montessori theory: my aim is to provide a safe and caring environment for children to develop themselves and discover their individuality. I'm a painter, which brings a creative input I find very important when dealing with children, specially toddlers, as communication might still be challenging and will require a lot of attention and improvisation from the caregiver in order to make them feel seen and understood. I love spending time with children and have found this very meaningful throughout the years.
